<< BACK Stewartsby Millennium Country Park, Marston Vale Community Forest Master plan proposals and detailed design for a successful millennium lottery bid achieving £2.4 million, match funded, for a forest centre and country park of major ecological and educational significance. A park of 227 hectares was created, establishing a wetland area covering 16 hectares. This provided the setting for an imaginative visitor centre, wildlife and sensory gardens and play area, with a series of cycle, horse and walking trails linking to national and local routes. |
