<< BACK Goswell Road and City Road Improvements, Islington, London Urban design proposals to create a landmark urban space as part of highway improvements to a key gateway site along the A1 strategy corridor. Our involvement commenced at the concept design stage and continued through to the detailed scheme design as part of a team that included highway engineers and artists for Transport for London. The proposals involve the relocation of the historic clock tower at Angel Islington, treatments to a London Underground ventilation shaft, enhancement of a strategic cycle route, and unification of pedestrian space/public realm across the junction. |
